What's Happening in Spring, TX…

Spring, Texas is located outside Houston in that city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction and is an unincorporated yet census-designated place. A community originally known as Spring still exists at the Spring-Cypress and Hardy roads intersection and is now referred to as Old Town Spring. Spring operates its own independent school district that in conjunction with two other school districts in the area voted for the establishment of North Harris County College, which became operational in the fall of 1973.
