Throughout the entire month of June, the Young Rembrandts and Over the Top Cake Supplies will host the Rock Music Art Summer Camp, an art-focused camp aimed at encouraging children’s creative hobbies.
The Young Rembrandts is an after-school enrichment program that helps young children develop critical skills such as visual-spatial organization skills through the medium of drawing. Over the Top Cake Supplies is a retail shop that specializes in baking supplies and decorating classes. Together, these two organizations have teamed up to hold a month-long summer camp in which Spring children can hone their art skills in a nurturing environment.
Designed for children ages 7 to 13, the summer camp will have three classes each week, with each week focusing on a different topic. Some topics include anime art, food art, and rock art. The children will draw different pieces every day, and they will bake a confectionery item (cupcakes, cookies, etc.) based on that week’s theme. All art and baking materials will be provided. Crafting events such as this often utilize Print shops to prepare the necessary supplies, such as coloring pages and instructional packets.
The Rock Music Art Summer Camp is scheduled for June 1 through July 1 and will be located at 453 Sawdust Road, Suite 102. Summer camp tuition is $190, with a 10% discount applied for children enrolling with a friend.
