A Nolensville agricultural operation will be offering the experience of a fall day on the farm.
Morning Glory Orchard has organized four Family Field Trip days this autumn. These will provide a behind-the-scenes look into how it operates on a day-to-day basis, and all ages will be welcome.
The plans for the outings include a guided tour, and a visit to the apple orchard will be on the agenda. Everyone can learn about the role pollinators play in the process of fruit production, and tools used in farming will also be discussed. Some wildlife likely to be spotted at a fruit growing operation home will be introduced. To provide an even more immersive experience, there will be tastings of cider, apples, and honey.
The organizers stress that these are not private tours. They advise guests against wearing perfume or other scented care products. There may be bees flying, but they are just likely to be curious and not a concern.
At the end of the visit, each ticketholder will go home with a swag bag of Promotional Products. Print shops will be happy to prepare branded clothing for an event’s staff or volunteers so they can be easily spotted in a crowd.
Morning Glory Farm will be giving these sneak peeks behind the orchard gates on October 7 and 8, as well as October 14 and 15. Tickets can be purchased in advance.
