Tournaments to keep golfers busy this June

There are three golf tournaments coming up in the Hermitage area next month – all of which are fundraising events.

The first tournament will be the annual Business and Industry Outing of the chamber. It will be an opportunity for both chamber members and non-members to get in some networking over a round of golf.
This is being held at the Avalon Golf and Country Club on June 11 beginning at 10:00 am. To find out the fees and other information about the tournament, contact Deanne at 724-981-5880.

The next one is Golf for a Cure, which will help to raise funds for the NephCure Foundation. This is taking place at the Greens of Greenville on June 16. Fees are $75 per person. Call Jessie Donner Hull at 724-813-8627 to learn more.

The final tournament of the month is the 20th annual Golf Masters Scramble hosted by the VPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation. Prizes will be awarded for various on-course competitions, and sponsorships are available from $50 up to $1,500.
This one will take place at the Avalon Golf and Country Club on June 23. For information, such as golf fees, call Robin Ballish at 724-983-7159.

Many Hermitage and area business leaders will no doubt make an effort to take part in at least one of these upcoming tournaments. Local printing companies are sure to be helping provide some of the Print advertising for these events, and businesspeople-cum-golfers may want to exchange some digital Business Cards on the day.
