WaterFire Sharon is returning this July, and is also planned during the months of August and September. The popular festival attracts approximately 70,000 visitors annually.
This year's theme is ‘elements’, and participants will be designing and setting 55 bonfires alight on the Shenango River after dark. There will also be many activities taking place during the course of the afternoon and evening leading up to the bonfires. This includes live music on two stages, delivered by artists such as the Bojewski Singers and street performers. In addition to this, there will be a children's activities area, food vendors, and arts and crafts artisans. The artisans will be selling a variety of items, such as handmade jewelry, paintings, ceramics, and clothing.
The arts and crafts vendors, who will probably come from all over the area, including nearby Hermitage, will likely want to make sure they get as much attention as they can. This might involve investing in services like banner printing to make their booths stand out from the others.
WaterFire Sharon's season opener is being held on July 19th, from 1:00pm to 11:00pm. Admission is free. The next two events in the series will take place on August 23rd and September 27th.
