Hermitage schedules bulk trash pick-up day

It's that time of year again, and as Hermitage households do their spring cleaning, they are reminded that a special bulk trash pick-up day has been planned to help make the chore easier.

For one day only, residents will be able to place a variety of bulk items at curbside for pick up, and the activity has been organized by the community's government. There is no additional charge for this service, and it is on offer only to those who live in Hermitage proper.

The list of items that can be placed for collection include indoor and outdoor furniture, small appliances, carpet rolls, large appliances such as stoves, dryers and washers, bicycles and lamps. Items such as fridges, air conditioners and freezers will need to have their doors disabled and be tagged by a certified technician to indicate that they have had the freon removed from their system. Computers, bagged leaves and televisions will not be picked up.

Making sure that the community is aware that a function like this has been scheduled can be made a lot easier with help from a flyer printing company. It will be able to produce an assortment of publications to aid in spreading the word to area households.

The date for this community bulk trash collection day will be May 3rd. More details are available on the Hermitage website.
