Hermitage will be making the most of a lazy summer afternoon when one of its parks serves as the venue for a celebration planned by the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The organization has invited its membership and their families to be part of this picnic style gathering, and it will be set up at Shelter 1 in Buhl Park. RSVPs have been requested and the final date to do so is August 6th.
The celebration will see its guests treated to picnic fare including pulled pork and chicken, rolls, baked beans, macaroni and cheese and also dessert. Admission is free, and there will be games and raffle draws for an assortment of Corporate Gifts. Following the meal, an Eagles tribute band will take to the stage to supply the live entertainment, and this will be on offer on the venue's main stage.
The organizers of the afternoon have put together a sponsorship program to help make it easier for local companies to show their support. These include the $100.00 food and drink sponsor and the $300.00 event sponsor levels, and to show appreciation for the support, the businesses that choose to do will have their generosity acknowledged.
The 2025 Chamber Picnic in the Park will celebrate the season on August 10th. It will begin at 2:00 pm and continue on until 6:00 pm.
