Hermitage hosts festival of Earth Day fun

Earth Day celebrates sustainable living, and a Hermitage activity will show some love to Mother Nature.

The city will be kicking off its 2025 outdoor event season with its Earth Day Festival, and it will be a gathering that seeks to make learning about the natural world fun for all ages. Scheduled for LindenPointe, those who are interested in the event are asked to arrive in the morning for the hands-on portion of the day.

The morning starts with a community clean up organized with assistance from Shenango River Watchers. There will be live music throughout the event, and the afternoon will see food trucks and a vendor market set up shop. Workshops for both kids and adults will be held, and a shuttle service will transport attendees to Hermitage Food to Waste Energy Plant so they can see, in person, how food waste is transformed into energy.

Earth Day events will be taking place in communities all over the world. A banner printing company can supply environmentally friendly options for decor and other materials for a celebration.

Hermitage will be hosting its 2025 Earth Day festival on Saturday, April 26. The morning clean-up project will start at 9:00 am, and a full schedule and details about how to get involved are available on the City of Hermitage website.
