Hermitage foodies to sample fruit of the vine

A Hermitage outing has been planned that will whisk wine lovers to area wineries, and it will be a full-day activity.

Hermitage Parks and Recreation has organized a bus trip to the vineyard of Geneva in Ohio, and five different venues are on the list. The transportation cost will be $40, and everyone can purchase their own meals and drinks in a relaxed environment.

The list of locations includes Laurello, South River, and Debonne vineyards, as well as Ferrante Winery and Ristorante and The Winery at Spring Hill. Each will offer the visitors the chance to sample a variety of sips.

At least 40 registrants are required for the function to take place. As alcohol will be served, the trip is limited to those age 21 and up. The bus will leave the City of Hermitage Municipal Building at 9:30am, and it will return for drop off at 9:00pm.

Wine tastings and similar events may be popular with local foodies. Tasting glasses printed with a graphic design of the customer’s choice can be crafted by Print shops.

This chance for Hermitage fans of the fruit of the vine to explore Geneva’s wineries will be on Saturday, June 1. Its web listing includes a registration link for anyone who would like to make sure they are on the guestlist.
