A thorough clean-up is often a part of winter prep for those who call Hermitage home, and the city has made arrangements to offer its households a helping hand.
The community had planned its Fall Clean Up Bulk Trash Pickup days, and it will be a time for residents to dispose of large or bulky items they cannot usually put out with their typical household waste. The collection vehicles will be rolling throughout the four days of the activity, and this service is on offer at no cost.
The city has prepared a list of items that can be left at curbside for disposal, and these range from bedding and other white goods to carpet rolls, bicycles, lawn chairs and other large pieces. Appliances that contain freon will need to have this material removed and be tagged by a technician who is certified to do so, and TVs, computers, and bagged leaves will not be accepted.
Offering a service like this is one way for a community to keep itself in top form, and including it in local community guides will help to make sure all residents know when and how they can take part. Print shops can prepare these sorts of publications as well as an assortment of other Promotional Products.
The Bulk Trash Pick Up vehicles will be visiting Hermitage neighborhoods from September 28 until October 2. More details can be found on the city’s website.
