A well-loved Hermitage tradition is about to make its return for 2024, adding some extra light and sparkle to the winter holiday season.
The 26th annual Hermitage Holiday Light Parade is right around the corner, and it will take place after the sun goes down. The staging area will be set up at the Hermitage Towne Plaza, and everyone who Signs up to provide a float is asked to arrive at the venue by no later than 4:00 pm. Other entries have until 5:30 pm to arrive.
Businesses, community service clubs, schools, and even individuals are encouraged to be part of the procession. A representative from each group taking part must attend the mandatory staging meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 19th at the Hermitage Municipal Building.
A holiday or other themed parade gives the companies and organizations that get involved the chance to show their community spirit. A banner printing company can supply weather-resistant decor for floats, as well as Banners and other items for marchers to carry.
The 26th annual Hermitage Holiday Light Parade will take to the streets on Saturday, November 23. It will begin at the intersection of Kerwood Drive and State Street, and the final date to apply to participate is Sunday, November 10. The parade is expected to be over by 9:00 pm.
