The 4th annual Buhl Park Winterfest is taking place this February in Hermitage.
This popular event offers a way for families to celebrate all that winter brings to the area. The day will start off with a pancake breakfast in the Casino ballroom. Prices have yet to be confirmed, although last year’s ranged from $3 up to $5.
Later on in the day, there will be a chili cooking event, an ice sculpting demonstration by Jeff Kaiser, a dog sledding display from Country Critters, and horse-drawn wagon rides. Visitors are also invited to get a team together to compete in the Great Snowman Challenge, with prized awarded for first, second, and third place. The festival will go on whether or not there is snow on the ground.
In past years, other activities at Winterfest have included face painting and storytelling for the kids, as well as a scavenger hunt.
No doubt many Hermitage residents will want to take part in this annual event, and local Print companies may have provided Flyers to help let them know of this year's date.
Winterfest is being held at Buhl Park Farm on February 8 from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Admission is free. To find out more about the event and this year's activities, contact Mary Lynn Reid at 724-981-5522.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Flyers
