Three authors to participate in Solon broadcast

The Cuyahoga County Public Library will be organizing a Zoom conference in Solon that features three published authors from Ohio.

People interested in hearing from experienced writers can attend the showcase of three talented novelists published by Tin House. The guests for the event include Daisy Hernandez, Elissa Washuta, and Eman Quotah. The Books being discussed during the call will be Bride of the Sea, White Magic, and The Kissing Bug.

Hernandez started as a reporter for The New York Times and has written for publications such as National Geographic and Code Switch. Washuta works at Ohio State University as an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing and has earned awards from Creative Capital, Artist Trust, and Potlatch Fund. Her other published Books include Starvation Mode and My Body is a Book of Rules. Quotah’s past works have appeared in notable papers like USA Today, Book Riot, and The Washington Post.
