Family-oriented festival returns to Solon

Solon will be hosting a family-friendly celebration intended to cater to those with limited mobility issues. This March event is open to everyone, and a host of on-site activities await.

The 2026 Adaptive & Inclusive Family Fun Fest has been organized by Solon Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation. Event officials state that the main goal is to provide a welcome atmosphere to attendees of all ages. Additional sponsors include the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the Solon Community Band, and Empower Sports.

This afternoon event offers plenty of immersive activities. These include a photo booth, a hands-on program allowing users to create balloon art, mini sports, face painting, an exhibition of musical instruments, and interactive art. A separate space has also been designated for those who may suffer from sensory issues. This has been donated by the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. More than 15 Solon organizations have contributed their resources to this year's event.

Community-oriented festivals will often adopt a well-rounded marketing approach to keep the public informed. Methods include banner printing, creating informative Flyers, and providing timely social media updates.

The 2026 Adapting & Inclusive Family Fun Fest is being held on Sunday, March 15th from 1 PM to 4 PM. All activities will be hosted within the Solon Community Center Located at 35000 Portz Parkway. There is no charge to attend this event, and no tickets are required.
