Swing into spring with Solon winter golf clinics

Those interested in practicing their golfing skills can attend a winter golf clinic held in February at Grantwood Golf Course in Solon.

Golfers of all ages can enjoy safe rounds of golf during the winter golf clinic. The Grantwood Golf Course will be holding three separate courses for children, adults, and seniors. The classes will be taught at the venue’s driving range, which will have heated, covered stalls for a more comfortable experience. No prior golfing skills are necessary to enter the clinic, and equipment will be provided to students who need supplies for the lesson.

The Grantwood Golf Course is an 18-hole course with several onsite amenities, such as a clubhouse, meeting rooms, and a pro-shop. The venue is also home to the Grantwood Golf Academy, which offers public clinics during the year and private instruction sessions. The cost of personal learning experiences is $60 per hour or $100 per hour for a playing lesson. Businesses with classes like this can advertise their programs to passing motorists by using banner printing.

The winter clinic for children will be held on Wednesdays starting on February 24 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Adult courses will occur every Tuesday beginning on February 23 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Senior classes are held on Tuesdays from 11:00 am to noon. The cost to participate in the clinic is $75 per golfer.
