Solon to organize community festival

The Solon Center for the Arts and the Solon Recreation Department will be holding a community event in July.

Solon Home Days is a multi-day festival where the community can gather and have fun. The event has many family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo, inflatables, and a movie night. Several food vendors will attend the gathering, and there will even be a beer garden for adults. The Backtraxx Band will play live music on the festival's final day. Guests can also browse the Artisans & Crafters Handmade Market. Merchants who sell crafts at festivals like this can draw attention to their shops with banner printing.

The Solon Center for the Arts is dedicated to enriching the community through its programming and giving people opportunities to appreciate the arts. The building used for the art center started as the town's original city hall, which was built in 1899. The group is involved with numerous local activities, such as the Hometown Holiday Market, Movie in the Park, and Shakespeare in the Park with Chagrin Arts.

Solon Home Days will take place from Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31. All events held during the festival will be at Solon Community Park. The fest is open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday, noon to 10:00 pm on Saturday, and 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday. No registration is needed to visit the town's festival.
