Solon presentation to discuss taxes

The Solon Community Center will be inviting a financial planning organization to give a seminar on taxes in June.

Taxes in Retirement is a program presented by Transcend Wealth where people can learn about reducing the taxes they pay on their retirement income. Guests will be taught how to avoid common planning mistakes and discover new strategies they can use to lower their taxes. No specific tax or legal advice will be given during the seminar, and the course is independent of the Solon Community Center. The event will use social distancing and capacity limitations to keep attendees healthy.

Transcend Wealth is an organization interested in providing comprehensible education to people about their finances. The group helps clients prepare for their financial future by offering seminars with up-to-date information. The organization was founded by Dennis Coon, an experienced financial advisor who has worked for companies such as Hill Financial Group and UBS Wealth Management. He also earned a degree from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.

The seminar will take place on Tuesday, June 14th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The lesson on retirement taxes is free for the community to join. The community center suggests that people register in advance for the activity. Financial advisors who give presentations such as this can use poster printing to advertise their lectures and increase interest in the event.
