Solon organization to hold fundraiser

Humble Design Cleveland in Solon will be organizing a fundraiser to help fund its programs in September.

Welcome Home Cleveland is a special event where people can interact with a local non-profit while enjoying food and live music. The entertainment for the fundraiser will be provided by Dan Mills and Jenny V. Guests will have an opportunity to tour the organization's warehouse and engage with the group's designers. Attendees can assist with decorating future homes by participating in fun activities during the fundraiser. Drinks will also be served to guests at the event.

Humble Design is an organization that helps those emerging from homelessness by fully furnishing their homes. Treger Strasberg is the founder of the group, and Jennifer Dutch is the interim CEO. People living in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, San Diego, and Seattle can receive assistance from the non-profit. Since the group was made in 2009, it has designed over 2,000 homes, helped more than 4,500 children, and reused over 7,000,000lb of donated furniture.

The fundraiser and warehouse tour will be held on Thursday, September 29 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. General admission will cost $100 per guest. Those who cannot attend the non-profit’s event can still support Humble Design Cleveland by donating online. Organizations that hold annual fundraisers such as this may use flyer printing to attract more attention from local consumers.
