Solon library to host conversation with noteworthy authors

The Cuyahoga County Public Library in Solon will soon air a live broadcast where two authors will discuss their latest novel.

Those interested in hearing from published authors can attend a Zoom meeting to listen to a talk from Elliot Ackerman and Admiral James Stavridis. The duo recently collaborated on their new novel titled “2034: A Novel of the Next World War.”

The book is a work of speculative fiction intended to serve as a cautionary tale, and people can order a copy of the novel from Mac’s Books. Authors like this can advertise their promotional events to the public through poster printing services.

Ackerman is an experienced novelist who has written Books such as “Waiting for Eden” and “Dark at the Crossing.” His past works have also been featured in publications like The New York Times Magazine and The Best American Short Stories. Stavridis has over 30 years of experience in the US Navy and commanded an aircraft carrier battle group. He has also worked as a columnist for Time and Bloomberg Opinion.

The broadcast will be held on Monday, March 29th from 7pm to 8pm. Guests need to register before attending the Zoom call, though the conversation will be free for the public to watch.
