The Dallas Lauderdale III Direction Up Foundation will be organizing a community event in June at Solon High School.
The Direction Up Foundation 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly program that inspires people to come outside and get active. The event is not competitive, and all entrants in the race will be given a medal. Participants will also receive refreshments and a t-shirt from the Direct UP Foundation. The activity is suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, and pets. Runners can partake in the chip-timed 5K. Those in the race will even be given a swag bag from the organizers.
The Foundation was founded to help enhance the lives of those who live with multiple sclerosis and their families. The group hosts several events to give people activities to look forward to, such as kickball games, bowling sessions, cookouts, and videogame tournaments. People can help the foundation by donating to the cause on its website. Charitable organizations like this may use Print shops to produce advertisements that get people interested in their programs.
The Direction Up Foundation 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, June 25th at 9:00 am. Packets for the activity may be picked up at 7:30 am. Adults can pay $25 to pre-register for the 5K or $15 to pre-register for the 1 Mile Walk. Same-day registration will cost $30 for the 5K and $20 for the single mile walk.
