The Signature of Solon Country Club will be holding a neurologic dry needling class this January to help those working in sports rehabilitation.
The Neurologic Dry Needling for Pain Management and Sports Rehabilitation Course is a multi-day class people can take to obtain the necessary skills to diagnose and treat soft tissue pain and dysfunction. Students in the program will partake in interactive lectures and complete several lab sessions. Other learning activities in the course include instructor demonstrations and PowerPoint presentations.
Several topics will be covered in the neurologic dry needling class, including the three types of trigger points, human error prevention, and the anatomy of neuro-trigger points. The course will use the Integrative Dry Needling (IDN) training program, which teaches students how to systematically treat the body. The class will include 27 hours of learning. Organizations with educational workshops like this may use brochure printing to create helpful handouts for students.
The dry needling course will be held from January 22 to 24. Those interested in attending the program can pay $1,295. Hotel options for the event include the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Cleveland/Solon and Homewood Suites by Hilton Cleveland-Solon. The instructor for the class will be Frank Gargano. Each session will begin at 8:00 am. A written test and practical examination will be held at the end of the program.
