The Solon Chamber of Commerce will be holding a discussion in November to share a new program for improving energy usage.
Learn How to Save with the Chamber Energy Program is a seminar offered by the Solon Chamber where guests can learn about decreasing their costs. According to the organizers, members who have joined the program save 15-20% on their utility expenses. Those who attend the Chamber’s presentation will get entered into a drawing to win a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card. Informational programs like this may be advertised to potential attendees with flyer printing.
The Chamber Energy Program is offered to more than 200 Chambers of Commerce in Ohio and is organized by Community Energy Advisors (CEA). CEA is an energy management firm that has been certified by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. The organization educates companies on how to best utilize their energy.
Small businesses that have joined the program have received utility lighting rebates and lower fixed costs for their electricity and natural gas. Homeowners who have entered the program can have their energy-related questions answered by representatives based in Ohio.
The presentation will be held on Friday, November 5th from noon to 12:30 pm. The discussion will take place over a Zoom conference call and is open to all chamber members. The meeting ID for the seminar is 845-2817-8765. Those interested in dialing in to the program can call (646) 558-8656.
