Solon bike store to hold fun safety event

The Rainbow Injury Prevention Center will be organizing a bike safety activity in May alongside the City of Solon Recreation Department and Solon Bicycles.

Solon Bike Safety Saturday is an event held at Solon Bicycles where families can start the biking season with a morning of educational fun. During the event, attendees can get their bikes checked at the venue and partake in bike-themed safety games. Children may receive a free bike helmet while supplies last, and adults can purchase bike helmets at discounted rates. Stores with activities like this can utilize banner printing to promote the event to consumers.

Solon Bicycles is a store founded in 1987 that sells bikes, cycling Apparel, and bicycle parts. The business earned the Park Tool Distinguished Service Award and has been named one of America’s best bike shops. The current president of the company is Dan Sirkin, who is a DT Swiss Certified Master Wheelbuilder with over 30 years of mechanical experience. The educational event will occur on Saturday, May 22nd from 10:00 am to noon. Families do not need to pay to attend the activity, though they can register for the occasion in advance.
