Solon band to perform at local park

The Solon Community Band will be performing at the Solon Community Park in July.

Fans of live music can attend a community concert held by the Solon Community Band. The show will take place at Diamond #2 at the park, and guests are allowed to bring personal blankets and lawn chairs to the venue. The performance will feature well-known patriotic tunes and other American favorites. People can also enjoy a fireworks display in the evening. Snacks will be sold at the event, and guests can purchase food at the attending food trucks.

The Solon Community Band was founded in 2015 and was initially supported by the Rotary Club of Solon. The director of the group is Laura L. Joss, the current Chair of Performing Arts at Old Trail School. She also worked at Baldwin Wallace University as the Chair of Music Education/Professional Studies. The band performs at many local venues, including the Glenwillow Pavilion and Bicentennial Park. People may support the performers by donating online.

The community concert and fireworks show will be held on Monday, July 3rd at 7:00 pm. No tickets need to be purchased to see the Solon Community Band perform, and registration is not required. Those in charge of local bands such as this may promote their concerts to audiences in their neighborhoods by using poster printing services.
