What's Happening in Solon, OH…

The Solon community takes safety seriously but aims to make it fun with this upcoming event.

Solon Bicentennial Park is a community hub spot that houses both the Solon Bull House Gallery and Solon Farmers Market, on top of being the location for many events and performances throughout the year, including the upcoming National Nights Out.

Designed as a way for the community to meet the Solon police department, the National Nights Out event is meant to be a fun, educational night for the entire family. This year's National Nights Out is not only a fun educational event but will also be featuring a movie night to wrap up the festivities. Event attendees will also be able to purchase their dinner from one of the food trucks, which will be rolling into the event. Some of the anticipated activities include a Touch-a-Truck emergency response vehicle tour and drone display. There will also be the opportunity to meet and greet with Henry, a therapy K9, police K9 demos, and the chance to pick up child ID kits.

Fun community event organizers like those for National Nights Out often have two focuses: to create a fun night and to spread awareness and help educate the community, and will often use tools like brochure printing to provide additional resources.
