The Roots Yoga 500 Hour Teacher Training event for those who are interested in becoming yoga instructors is set to be hosted in Medina next month.
Roots Yoga is an organization that centers on the practice of yoga. Roots Yoga regularly holds classes for students on traditional yoga practices, as well as training programs that prepare new yoga instructors to open their own businesses.
Instructor Pamela Price will lead the program with help from several other yoga teachers for some of the training sessions. This comprehensive program is designed to teach people who are serious about becoming professional yoga instructors to learn about the practice in depth, and develop the necessary communication and problem-solving skills to instruct students of their own.
Students from Medina County will learn topics such as how to perform and teach advanced yoga techniques, how to accommodate the learning needs of individual students, and how to organize in-person and virtual learning programs. The hosts of similar in-person programs often utilize brochure printing to create handouts for each student.
This detailed, 500-hour certification program is set to take place in Wadsworth at Roots Yoga beginning on Friday, January 15, 2021 and running for most of the year until December 5. Scheduled times include 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Fridays, and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekends.
