Two important Medina non-profit organizations, Main Street Medina and Feeding Medina County, will be the beneficiaries of the upcoming Pizza Palooza fundraiser, scheduled for Medina Square. The day will offer attendees a chance to sample pizza pies, shop at a farmers’ market, and talk to representatives of about 50 social service agencies and non-profits.
Jeremy Levine, the executive director of Main Street Medina, said nice weather would bring out a large crowd, if 2016’s event is anything to go by. Last year, between 6,000 and 7,000 people attended the fair to learn about the services offered by the county, and to vote for the pizza they liked best.
He added that the non-profit organizations do a lot of important work in the county, and though most people are probably coming to eat pizza, he also hopes they will take the opportunity to find out about these agencies and how they help the community.
Among the pizza professionals scheduled to attend are Pizza 800 Degrees, Papa Johns, Marco’s Pizza, Gionino’s Pizzeria, and Domino’s. Several others have been invited but have yet to respond.
The Pizza Palooza is scheduled from 9 am until 2 pm tomorrow June 17, 2017.
Events like this can benefit if organizers work with a flyer printing company to create a handout for attendees. It can list all the various participants, and where to find their displays.
