Medina's Community Design Committee recently announced it would be holding its second Twilight Garden Party, which is a fundraiser.
The event features live music, a silent auction, hors d'oeuvres, art, and wine. Appetizers will be provided by Corkscrew Saloon, as well as by Miss Molly's Tea Room. Local artists will have their works for sale, including photographs, wreaths, and paintings. Party goers will be able to enjoy themselves in an intimate garden setting near the Public Square.
Sponsors of the event include The McManus Agency, with additional help from Root Candles, Tender Loving Care Animal Hospital, and Oak Ridge Farm and Floral, among others.
Proceeds from the event will go to aid in the work done by the Community Design Committee (CDC). Formed in 1967, the CDC led the efforts to restore Medina's Historic Square. The Committee remains committed to working for the beautification of Medina and the preservation of the city's heritage.
Admission for the party is $30, and tickets, which are on sale now but must be bought by tomorrow, can be purchased at Cool Beans Cafe, Miss Molly's Tea Room, and the Medina County Convention & Visitors’ Bureau. The tea party is slated for this Friday, June 13, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Since this is an outdoor event, organizers might want to work with a banner printing company to create sturdy, colorful flags for outdoor use.
