Local residents turned out to hear the Medina Community Band, directed by Marcus Neiman and Curtis Amerin. An annual ice cream social, hosted by Kiwanis, was also welcomed in the sweltering heat of the afternoon. The annual Fireworks Festival was a huge success the night before.
The Twin Sizzler and Medina’s other Independence Day festivities have become a valued tradition for many area residents. George Gordon, of Motville, stated:
“I came to spend time with the family. It’s become a tradition for us. It incorporates everything that is most important — it’s patriotic and it’s about what America stands for. I think family values are a part of that.”
Local festivities and community events generally use local printing companies for banner printing, poster printing, and flyer printing to help celebrate or announce activities to those in attendance. Business card printing may also be used by local vendors providing services at the event.
