The Medina County Veterans Service Office will hold a banquet in April to honor all veterans.
Veterans throughout Medina County are invited to attend a dinner at Williams-on-the-Lake in Medina, Ohio. The event allows vets to meet with fellow service members and enjoy entertainment provided by the organizers. A reception will be held before the banquet, where attendees can have cocktails, Swedish meatballs, and cheeses. Guests can also participate in raffles. The price of the banquet will include the cost of draft beers, house wines, and sodas.
Companies interested in promoting themselves to veterans can purchase advertisement spaces in the event’s official program. A half-page ad will cost $50, and a full-page ad may be bought for $100. The organizers will also sell business card-sized ads for $25. Stores have the option of their ads being colored or black and white. All companies must submit their ads by April 18. Those who buy a full-page ad will also receive a dinner ticket to the veterans’ banquet.
The celebratory dinner will be held on Friday, April 28 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets to the banquet will cost $35 per person. Attendees may wear a sport coat or uniform to the event, and those in civilian clothing are asked to wear pins, badges, or medals that depict their service. Banquets like this may be promoted to target audiences with flyer printing services.
