The Triskell Bakery will be visiting the Huth and Harris Wine Bar in January to give a class on making authentic pastries.
The Croissant Demonstration is a two-hour lesson where attendees can learn how to make French croissants while enjoying complimentary wine from Huth and Harris. The workshop will teach participants about making the dough and butter layer of the pastries. Guests will also be taught folding techniques for croissants. All students will receive a gift box at the start of class with two croissants and two pains au chocolats. Attendees can ask the demonstrator questions throughout the class.
The instructor for the event is Alain Marec, the owner of the Triskell Bakery. Marec is an experienced chef who was born and raised in Paris, France. He founded the bakery in 2023 after working as a food scientist for over 30 years. The business works with several local organizations, including the Medina County Senior and Adults Foundation, Medina Creative Housing, and the Cups Café. Marec also offers classes on baking sourdough bread and baguettes.
The croissant demonstration will take place on Tuesday, January 21st from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Tickets to Marec’s course will cost $45 per student. Space is limited, so students must register for the baking workshop in advance. Businesses that offer activities like this may use poster printing services to promote their demonstrations to consumers.
