Medina to host horse therapy workshop for women

An equine-assisted learning event for women is scheduled to take place in Medina.

The ‘Unbridled’ Horses Empowering Women workshop will be hosted by Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary, an animal welfare organization that has primarily adopted horses in need, as well as other animals.

This Medina organization has created therapeutic programs for participants that combine professional mental health practices with equine-assisted psychotherapy. The leaders of such programs often use brochure printing to hand out detailed information to participants and those who are interested in learning more.

Forever Amber Acres provides quarterly equine-assisted workshops for women. Clients will be able to work with the Medina sanctuary’s trained therapy horses under the guidance of an equine therapist and mental health professional. Life challenges specific to women will be addressed during this two-hour session, including self-care, major life changes such as retirement, motherhood challenges, and the exploration of identity as a person beyond a mother or wife. Organizers of such events often use flyer printing to create printed materials with necessary workshop information to participants.

This program is targeted toward women 21 years old and up. Registration for the event can be completed online and costs $50 per person.

The ‘Unbridled’ equine-assisted workshop is set to occur at Forever Amber Acres on Saturday, June 13 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
