The Comrades in Arms Equine Assisted Learning Workshop is set to take place in Medina next month.
Forever Amber Acres is the host of this in-person event. The organization regularly holds workshops for children and adults that involve Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) that help participants deal with stress, trauma, or to unwind while working with and caring for therapy horses at the sanctuary.
Comrades in Arms is hosted every month in Medina for veterans of the military of all ages and from all military branches who are returning to their regular lives after service. These one-and-a-half hour events will provide attendees with experiences and activities centering on the horses at Forever Amber, including grooming, care, and learning about equine behavior and communication. Brochure printing is frequently part of event hosts’ organizing plans in order to hand informative printouts to all workshop participants or inquiring individuals who wish to learn more about the featured events.
To sign up for the workshop, individuals can register online with Forever Amber at no cost due to support from the V.E.T.S. Scholarship Fund. Workshop sizes can accommodate up to 10 participants at a time.
The Comrades in Arms Equine Assisted Learning Workshop is scheduled to be hosted at the Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary on Wednesday, May 5 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
