Medina to host community beer festival

Main Street Medina will organize an alcohol-tasting activity in April at the Medina County Fairgrounds Community Center.

The Main Street Medina Beer Fest is an adults-only event where attendees can try beers from over 25 breweries from the region. Around 70 craft brews will be available for guests to sample. General admission to the beer fest will include 10 beer-tasting tickets, a food ticket, a donut ticket, and a branded tasting glass. The redeemable food vouchers are only for appetizer-sized portions and will not be usable for full meals. Guests can enjoy live music at the community center during the fest.

Main Street Medina is a group created by community leaders in 2007 to help rebuild the city's shopping district and attract more consumers to the area. The organization's main goal is to help Medina become Ohio's premier small-town destination. The executive director of Main Street Medina is George Sam, and the group's events director is Angela Mansier. People can donate or become members of Medina's organization to support its cause.

The beer festival will be on Saturday, April 27 from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. General admission to the fest is $50 per person, and tickets for designated drivers are available for $15. There are also VIP passes available for $70 and $100 that include benefits like early admission. Organizations can promote similar community fests by using banner printing services.
