DogFest Cleveland is set to return to Medina for its sixth year next month.
This dog-friendly event was originally created to serve as a fundraiser for Canine Companions for Independence, a non-profit organization that provides well-trained service dogs to disabled individuals at no cost. All funds raised by vendors at DogFest Cleveland will contribute to the success and continuation of Canine Companions for Independence.
Admission to this festival is free for all adults and children who wish to attend. Medina locals can bring their well-behaved canine companions to the event. Dog lovers who do not have a pet are also invited to join and help contribute to the fundraiser through vendor purchases. Organizers who are in charge of community festivals often choose banner printing to showcase an event with colorful, attention-grabbing decorations.
The festival will feature activities and perks that include service dog demonstrations, face painting, crafts, food and beverage vendors, music, and games for dogs and their guardians.
On-site registration will begin at 1:00 pm on the day of the event. At 2:00 pm, the opening ceremony will commence and a walk around the square will take place at 2:30 pm. The festival will conclude with a closing ceremony at 3:30 pm.
This festive dog-themed event is scheduled to take place at Uptown Park on Sunday, September 22.
