Medina Rec Indoor Tri returns for 2025

Medina residents are challenged to put their fitness to the test at the 3rd annual indoor triathlon, biathlon, and youth tri.

Hosted at the Medina Rec Center, which has 110,000 square feet of space dedicated to recreation, the triathlon is just one example of how the center supports the Medina community in building and maintaining an active lifestyle.

The third annual indoor triathlon, biathlon, and youth tri at the Medina Rec Center will allow the local community to compete against each other and benchmark their current fitness levels. The triathlon will have six waves, allowing participants time to complete their swim, bike, and run laps. The biathlon will have one wave and will consist of biking and running. Each segment will be 20 minutes for the adult races and have a five-minute transition time. There will also be a youth wave for those between the ages of 7 to 15, which will consist of 10-minute segments of swimming, biking, and running, with a 10-minute transition between racing segments. Spaces for each wave are limited and must be reserved ahead of time.

Events like triathlons often involve considerable coordination. This is why event organizers often utilize printing services to help create clear Signs and documentation of what is occurring, where, and who is participating.

The event will be held at Medina Rec Center on Sunday, February 9, with the first wave beginning at 7:30 am. Additional information can be found on the event website.
