Medina makerspace to hold holiday market

The Common Ground in Medina will organize a marketplace for local small businesses in November.

Small Business Saturday is an event where local businesses can showcase their wares in a historic destination in Medina. This will be the second anniversary of the marketplace. People can find many products at the market, including pet treats, leather goods, and vintage Apparel. Attendees may also find art and crafted goods like jewelry, wooden items, and pottery. Companies can purchase an 8x10 or 16x10 space at the event. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables and chairs.

The Common Ground is a venue for themed business events, such as the Witches Weekend flea market and the Home for the Holidays Christmas Market. The venue is a historic warehouse that was repurposed as a makerspace. There are many activities offered at The Common Ground, including an indoor airsoft facility, rock climbing wall, and axe-throwing facility. Children under four can use the Play Grounds Stay&Play room. There is also an onsite gym run by Better Bodies of Medina.

The small business marketplace will be on Saturday, November 30 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Companies can pay $75 or $120 for a booth space at the market. Applicants are required to provide photos of their products and a price range. Vendors who participate in similar markets may bring Promotional Products to encourage consumers to engage with their booths.
