Medina art auction to help children's center

The Children's Center of Medina County will be organizing a fundraiser in November to benefit kids who have been harmed and mistreated.

The 7th Annual Art With A Heart Auction & Benefit is a show where attendees can listen to music, enjoy cocktails, and view creations made by local artists. A few of the available pieces at the event will be made by students from the Medina County Juvenile Detention Center. Attendees can also eat appetizers and desserts while at the benefit. The experience will include both a live and silent auction. Those who promote fundraisers like this may use poster printing for marketing their activities to locals.

Money raised during the art show will be donated to The Children's Center of Medina County and the Medina County Juvenile Detention Center's Art Therapy Program. The center became a non-profit group in 2008. Ashley Krause is the current executive director of the group, and Anna Guy-Leach works as the director of development. The organization is also an accredited member of the National Children's Alliance.

The auction and benefit will take place on Thursday, November 4 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets to the program will cost attendees $60 per person. Those interested in joining the fundraiser must register for the event by next Thursday, October 28. The live art auction will begin at 7:00 pm.
