The yearly Harvest Walk and 5k fundraiser is scheduled to occur close to Medina this year.
The Kidney Foundation of Ohio (KFO) originally founded this annual event in 2010 to help fund kidney disease research and educate locals from around Medina County. The proceeds gathered from this year’s entry fees will help support the Kidney Foundation of Ohio. The hosts of fundraiser events typically use poster printing as an efficient way to spread the world locally.
Registration for the 2020 Harvest Walk and 5K costs $25 per person for the one-mile walk, $35 for individuals joining the 5K, and free for kidney patients and children two years old or younger. The initial 100 individuals who choose to raise or donate $100 or more to the Kidney Foundation will win a KFO wintertime hat.
Individuals may choose to participate in the Harvest Walk and 5K virtually from any location, or can join in onsite, depending on social distancing guidelines. The event will include refreshments, music played live by a DJ, raffles, and a balloon artist. Participants will also be able to learn more about the Kidney Foundation of Ohio and other local health organizations.
This Medina County fundraiser is set to take place virtually or at the Mapleside Farms in Brunswick on Sunday, October 4 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
