The Breaking Bread on Bourbon Street Gala is set to take place in Wadsworth next month.
Hosted once each year by the Feeding Medina County Organization, this fundraiser event supports seniors and children from across Medina County who struggle under poverty and insufficient access to food.
Last year, this jazz and art themed gala hosted more than 300 people and successfully raised over $100,000 that helped support more than 1,000 children at 32 schools, as well as over 400 seniors.
This year, the organization aims to raise $150,000 for those in need.
The evening’s festivities will include live and silent auctions, live jazz music, hors d’oeuvres, and a dinner prepared by John Martin, the organization’s executive chief. Locals from across Medina County are welcome to attend this event. Poster printing is often used by organizers of such events to catch the attention of those who are interested in attending.
Tickets to the gala cost $60 per person. Those who cannot attend but still wish to support Feeding Medina County may make a donation to the organization online.
Sponsors may support and participate in the event by choosing between registration options ranging from $250 to $10,000.
The gala is scheduled to take place at the Galaxy Banquet Center on Saturday, March 7 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
