The Colerain community has a strong German heritage, which is celebrated by the community at this upcoming festival.
The Cincinnati Donauschwaben Society is an organization focused on preserving the German language and local Germanic culture through various events throughout the year. It will host the upcoming Schwabenfest XV.
The Schwabenfest XV is designed to be a fun event for Colerain Township to enjoy fantastic traditional German entertainment, delicious food, and great music. During this two-day event, festival attendees will be able to enjoy an Oktoberfest Chicken Dinner on Friday night and a Roasted Beef Dinner on Saturday. The event will also have authentic German Beer for attendees to enjoy. Schwabenfest XV attendees will also be able to listen to live music throughout the event. There will also be several performances by the Donauschwaben Dance groups, who perform traditional Germanic folk dances.
Bringing an event to life takes a lot of coordination, which is why event organizers often carefully consider the layout of a venue and the event theme before designing decorations or banner printing to help bring the event to life.
The Schwabenfest XV will take place on June 6th and 7th, 2025, at the Cincinnati Donauschwaben, located at 4290 Dry Ridge Rd, Cincinnati. Admission is $5 per person, with children under 12 being free. Additional information about the festival can be found on the event website.
