School fundraiser honors model graduates
Seton High School, in Price Hill near Colerain, is gearing up for its annual fundraiser, and the entire community is invited.
‘The Stars in Our Midst: Inspiring Young Women to Light up the World’ is the theme for this year's event. During the course of the evening, various alumnae from the private high school will be recognized. The school will be honoring those who have continued to display its four pillars of academics, leadership, service, and faith as they have gone about their lives after graduation.
The fundraiser's organizers can use postcard printing to inform alumnae of the event, and to spread the word to the larger community. Money raised during the event will support the tuition assistance program at the school, so that more students can afford to attend.
Highlights of the fundraiser include a raffle and two types of auction. The grand prize for the raffle is a grant of $10,000 to cover tuition. Tables will be set up for the silent auction so that people can bid on hundreds of items during the cocktail reception. People can also participate in the Elite Eight basketball bracket, which has a halftime prize of $250 and a grand prize of $750.
The fundraiser is scheduled for March 28, with a cocktail hour starting at 5:30 pm and the dinner and live auction beginning at 7:00 pm. Tickets cost $85 per person, $170 per couple, and $650 per table of eight.
