Local cover band to play at Colerain concert series

A veteran group of entertainers will perform at Colerain Park in July as part of the township’s summer concert program.

Those who love live music can attend the Colerain Summer Concert Series to see a show from The Remains. The concert will be held at the Colerain Park Amphitheater. The Remains is a cover band that plays popular songs from well-known groups such as KC and the Sunshine Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and the Climax Blues Band. The band decades of experience and has played thousands of shows.

The Cincinnati-based group came together in 1987 to perform pop and rock tunes, and today plays at many venues and events in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, including the Bechtold Park Concert Series and the Arlington Memorial Gardens Summer Concert Series. The Remains can be booked for private events like weddings and corporate functions. Clients can also request the band to play specific songs at their events.

The summer concert will take place on Friday, July 26 and will begin at 7:00 pm. People do not need to purchase tickets to see the live performance, and registration is not required. Guests can bring their own snacks and blankets to the venue, though they are expected to clean up after themselves before leaving.
