Colerain chamber to honor local departments
Members of the Colerain Chamber of Commerce can show their appreciation for the town’s police and fire departments during a breakfast in September.
The Police & Fire Appreciation Breakfast is an activity where the community celebrates the contributions of its local departments through a group meal. The food will be catered by BB Riverboats & Current Catering. During the event, certain guests will receive awards such as Colerain Firefighter/EMS of the Year and Colerain Police Officer of the Year. There will also be an international valor award given to three of the town’s firefighters for participating in a Miami River rescue.
The Colerain Chamber of Commerce is an organization for local businesses that offers networking opportunities to its members and increases store visibility. The group hosts several events in the community, such as the Chamber Women’s Networking Group and the Sales Summit. The chamber also created the program Colerain H.O.P.E. (Helping Our People Everyday). People can join the organization for benefits like sponsorship opportunities, discounts, and increased referrals.
The appreciation breakfast will take place at the Colerain Township Community Center on Friday, September 9 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Members of the police and fire department and their families may attend for free. All other guests must pay $7 to enter the event. Chambers that organize activities like this can use flyer printing to get more locals involved with their programs.
