Colerain artists to celebrate Womens History Month
Colerain locals can attend a virtual presentation offered by the Cincinnati Public Library in March that features three talented female artists.
Art & Activism: Cincinnati Women Create Change is a program that honors the achievements of three local artists and activists. The guests of the panel include Cal Cullen, Siri Imani, and Stacey Vest. Listeners will learn about each presenter’s approach to activism and gain a better understanding of their perspectives. The program’s intended audience will be teens and adults, and the library’s presentation will take place over a Zoom call.
Cal Cullen is the co-founder and executive director of Wave Pool, a contemporary art center that encourages experimental art and creates change. Siri Imani is the creator of the organization Triibe, which is a group dedicated to spreading positive representations of urban culture through group activities. Stacey Vest, the owner of East to Vest Productions, elevates experiences by offering wearable art, strolling tables, and contract entertainment. Artists can use business card printing to establish connections with their clientele.
Art & Activism: Cincinnati Women Create Change will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Zoom invitations to access the presentation will only be given to those who register for the activity. There are a limited number of seats for watching the panel.
