Avon Lake to organize summer performances
The Avon Lake Parks and Recreation Department will hold a series of local concerts throughout the summer at several parks.
Party in the Park is a community concert series where people can enjoy live performances and easily access local food trucks. The experiences will take place at three locations, including Miller Road Park, the Veterans' Memorial Park Gazebo, and Weiss Field. Guests can play yard games at the venues and bring personal chairs and blankets to use during the shows. The events are also open to dogs on leashes. Attendees may not smoke or vape at the performances.
Several talented groups will perform in the concert series, such as Monica Robbins and the Ninja Cowboys, the La Grange Community Band, and the Patriot Symphonic Band. There will also be special performances from the Avon Lake Historical Society and the Avon Lake Library. Different food trucks will attend each concert date, such as the CLE Cookie Dough Co., Brusters Ice Cream, Barrio's Tacos, and Babcia's Kitchen.
The summer concert series will start on Sunday, June 16th and end on Thursday, August 15th. Residents and non-residents of Avon Lake are allowed to attend the performances. There is no cost or registration needed to watch the live shows. Community organizations that hold similar programs can use flyer printing to share information about their activities with more people.
