Avon Lake egg hunt to benefit scholarship fund
The Avon Garden Club will organize an adults-only activity in March at Veterans' Memorial Park in Avon Lake.
The Egg Hunt for Adults is an event where people can relive their childhood memories while supporting students in the community. Attendees can choose between two courses, including the Jackrabbits and Cottontails. The Jackrabbits course is a competitive egg hunt where participants try to grab all the eggs they can, and the Cottontails course only lets adults collect 10 eggs. Those who purchase VIP tickets to the event can get complimentary food and more chances for prizes.
The Avon Garden Club is an organization that wants to beautify the community and raise local enthusiasm for gardening. The group hosts many activities, including vendor game nights and plant sales. Members of the club help maintain gardens throughout Avon and assist the city with various projects. The Avon Garden Club Scholarship Program offers financial aid to local students pursuing careers in fields like agriculture, horticulture, and landscaping.
The egg hunt will be on Saturday, March 23rd from 11:30am to 1:30 pm. The cost of a basic ticket to the event is $25 per person, and the price of a VIP ticket is $30. All participants in the event must be 21 or older. Guests are asked to dress comfortably for the outdoor weather. Those in charge of scholarship fundraising activities like this can use printing services to make original event flyers.
