What's Happening in Patchogue, NY…

Saint Patricks Day Parade this Sunday March 25

With the 9th Annual Patchogue Garden Club “Think Spring” Luncheon coming up, along with the Patchogue Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, it’s clear that local professionals are going to get plenty of chances to get involved with the community this month.

Although Saint Patrick's Day, itself, has already passed, printing companies have undoubtedly been busy working on banner printing, poster printing, and flyer printing in preparation for the Patchogue Saint Patrick’s Day Parade taking place this weekend. According to the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce’s website, this event is going to feature floats and marching bands as a part of the fun. Starting at 2pm and concluding just an hour later at 3pm, this event is going to be a great time for the whole family.

A couple of days after the parade, on the 29th, the next Annual Patchogue Garden Club “Think Spring” Luncheon is going to be taking place. Featuring Fantastic Gardens of Long Island’s own Jody Garrett, the topic of this year’s presentation is going to be that of “Kitchen Gardening with Herbs”. Starting at 10:30am, and continuing until 1pm, those who are interested in gardening and home care won’t want to miss this one.

In keeping with the parade theme,

“May the road rise to meet ye and gently guide ye home to Patchogue”

local businesses may want to consider making a donation to either one of these events. With raffles and prizes being made available to attendees at the luncheon, it can’t hurt to get some extra exposure that way.
