Organizers bring show of oddities to Patchogue

A popular show of the odd and abnormal is coming to Patchogue this summer, with organizers expecting to draw attendees from across the Northeast.

New England’s Odd and Unusual Show, which is part of the Odd and Unusual series by Paul Parisi, will be coming to Patchogue this June with the purpose of bringing together the “weirdos” of the Northeast to enjoy a sense of community and understanding. The show will also provide a setting for local and regional artists and craftspeople to meet with potential customers and showcase their works.

The event’s themes will tie into the macabre, abnormal, horror, and paranormal genres. Visitors will get to stroll through the market and check out what the estimated 45+ vendors will have on display. Tarot readers will also be in attendance for attendees who wish to experience a reading. Organizers can use flyer printing to spend less on marketing while reaching a broad audience around town.

Diiiotima Arts will host a performance during the event, with the experience being likened to a “dark circus.” It will feature a family-friendly environment, and children 10 and under can attend free of charge.

The Stereo Garden in Patchogue is set to host the event, which has been announced for Saturday, June 27th. The doors open at noon and the experience ends at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $5 online for $10 at the door.
