Patchogue venue begins weekly reading series

Bookworms and Patchogue residents seeking a slow and intentional start to their weeks will want to make a note in their diaries, as a local venue has recently started a weekly series.

Reading Room Mondays have kicked off at The Bookstore Bar in Patchogue. Organizers hope to kick start a weekly series designed for area residents with a love of reading to start their week on the right foot. The event is being billed as “a softer way to start your week,” pairing a peaceful setting for attendees to work on projects, tackle work tasks, or read their newest book.

The venue is designed to provide quiet corners that are ideal for reading Books and enjoying coffee or cocktails. Printing services can help such venues access colorful and eye-catching Menus that share drink specials and food options, with designs that match the theme. Besides coffee and cocktails, attendees can choose from several tea and mocktail options for a warm beverage to sip.

Warm lighting will provide a softer light for comfortable reading. The gathering will also provide a setting where readers in the community to connect. RSVP is encouraged, as spots are limited.

The Bookstore in Patchogue will be the host site for this weekly gathering. Sessions are currently scheduled for every Monday evening, starting at 5:30 PM, at The Bookstore Bar. Reservations are free online.
